An annual cake sale was held last Saturday in memory of Aashi Sinha, an 18 year old who passed away due to a heart problem in 2013. The cake sale, held at the Christ Eternal Church in Brentwood Road, Gidea Park, raised more than £5100 for charity Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) thanks to the support of friends, family and the surrounding community.
