On Saturday, 5th June in Bowerchalke, Wiltshire, we put on a charity sale in aid of Sebastian Body for CRY in our garden before our big house sale! We were so pleased to see so many people turn up and buy from us things such as an old rusty wheelbarrow- to a well-used waffle make that Sebastian used to use at home in the holidays.
A Silent Auction proved to be very successful with lots of people trying to outbid each other for a second-hand tv and various other items that we did not want to take with us on our move! We were lucky enough to have generous neighbours and friends who contributed their homemade cakes as well. It was such a sunny and beautiful afternoon in a relaxed atmosphere talking about the charity of CRY.
We managed to raise a grand total of £928!
