Myself and Vicky Ballard ran the sale at RSCH and our colleague Natalie Barton ran the one at PRH. Four years on from losing Cheryl she is still fondly remembered and missed by all who knew and worked with her. She was the life and soul of any party and was the kind of person who was just liked by everyone who met her.
It’s still a shock that she’s not around anymore due to the sudden nature in which she was taken, and being one of the last to see her alive and well on that fateful night makes it all the more painful. Her family are amazingly strong considering what they’ve been through first losing Trina and then Cheryl. And it is an honour to hold this cake sale each year in memory of 2 very special ladies.
