Mick McCann was joined by his sons, Graham and Richard, this Sunday for the 13.1 mile race, completing it in two hours and fifty eight minutes. In 2016 Mick’s son, Paul McCann died around the 12th mile of the race, with the family wanting to finish the race this year for Paul, and in his memory.
Mick, along with friends and family are aiming to raise around £8,500 for Cardiac Risk in the Young to pay for screenings for young people in their local area. The family hope to reach their target next year, having already raised just over £6,000 for Paul’s memorial fund.
