Approximately 3.5 miles, the Durham Walk will take you from Durham Amateur Rowing Club, along the riverside, taking in sites such as the iconic cathedral, and then on through the city centre finishing back at the rowing club.
This event homepage will turn into a digital message wall on the day of the walk, to raise awareness and show the true incidence of young sudden cardiac death.
Once you register you will receive a link to upload a short message and photo to appear on the wall.
As always, there will also be a marquee at the rowing club, where you can write a message, or pin your back-signs up to remember all those who have died suddenly from YSCD.
Your event pack – all digital and emailed to you in one easy link, downloadable items and links to upload to our message wall
A CRY T-Shirt
Downloadable back-signs to print and pin the back of your t-shirts on the day (we can also post these to you!)
A medal once you have completed the walk
If you can’t make it to Durham on the day, but would still like to take part raising awareness in your local area, then you can sign up to My Walk For CRY.
We encourage supporters to plan a route the equivalent distance as the Durham Walk (3.5 miles) to raise awareness, remember those who have died from Young Sudden Cardiac Death (YSCD), and support those living with a heart condition.
You’ll receive an event pack filled with ideas to get you started, including t-shirt, back-signs and links to upload to our digital message wall.
