Staff from the various Ground Espresso Bars across the province have helped to raise much-needed funds for CRY – Cardiac Risk in the Young – by competing in their very own 'It's a Knockout.'
The event, held at Kelly's in Portrush and attended by lots of competitors and spectators, raised in the region of £1,000 for the charity.
Teams from the charity also took part in the competitions which featured a Rodeo Bull, Gladiators, Bungee Run, Obstacle Course, Penalty Shoot Out and Sumo Wrestling.
"Crowds of local families turned out to show their support with the kids enjoying the free face painting, balloons, bouncy castle and a BBQ supplied by BM Promotions with music throughout the day by local DJ and avid supporter of CRY, Alan Logan," said a spokesperson.
"Ground would like to thank CRY, their staff, the event sponsors and the generous local community for showing their support for a fantastic cause which allowed them to raise funds in the region of £1,000 with money still flowing in.
"A fantastic day was enjoyed by all with plenty of sunshine and a big congratulations to the wining team, 'G-Force' from Ground Coleraine, who won the competition!
