This has to be without a doubt the biggest challenge we have taken on, climbing to the top of Kilimanjaro – the tallest freestanding mountain in the world!
We went as a group of 12 and 4 of us – Ami Jarvis, Simon Plant, Ben Jarvis & Chloe Etchells – raised money for CRY in the process.
After we took on the challenge we soon realised the percentage of people making it to the summit was not in our favour but we were a determined bunch! I am absolutely delighted to say that we all made it to the top and it was the most amazing and rewarding experiences of our lives.
We raised a fantastic £1860 (£2171.25 incl. Gift Aid) for the Louise Worth Memorial Fund at CRY.
