If you have a family history of Young Sudden Cardiac Death and/or Cardiac Condition, we would require you to sign a statement to say you have discussed your wish to run with your cardiologist, and you have both come to an agreement that it is ok for you to run the London Marathon. If you haven’t yet been screened, we can provide you with information regarding this.
As the TCS London Marathon is a core funding event for CRY, all money raised from a CRY place will go towards our core funding initiatives. It is, therefore, not possible to allocate sponsorship raised using CRY places, to specific projects that a ringfenced memorial fund has set a target for.
We welcome ballot place runners and offer the same support, fundraising materials and running vest or Techno T-shirt as our charity place runners receive. If you have any family or friends who have a ballot place and wish to run for CRY, please email [email protected] or call 01737 363222. Money raised by a ballot place runner can be allocated to specific projects that a ringfenced memorial fund has set a target for.
