The tragic death of a teenage swimming instructor has left an incredible legacy – thanks to the efforts of her family. A memorial fund set up in the wake of the 19-year-old Mia Jennings’ death will see the hearts of at least 1,000 young people screened.
Mia, a swimming instructor and HR apprentice from Macclesfield, died suddenly in January 2023 following a cardiac event. Mia’s memorial fund has now raised almost £50,000 for Cardiac Risk in the Young.
