The Miccoli’s weekend at Telford Shopping was a big success. It started off with a spot on BBC Radio Shropshire on Friday 3rd October. Lots of people turned up who had heard about the tour from the radio show and also a group of Miccoli fans came along to support the band which was a great boost to the band. It is fantastic to see so many people turning up to show their support, and that CRY’s message is reaching people all around the country.
Upon speaking about the contact they had with shoppers in Telford, Miccoli said “We had an enquiry this week from a family where it was found that the screening for a genetic heart condition had missed a generation, so they had concerns for their teenage children. This flagged up how important it is to always get every member of the family, that is a first degree relative (children/siblings/parents) of the person affected, screened – if there is a genetic heart condition in your family’s history.”
