Hazel Wakefield and her son Jaime took part in the Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) ‘Heart of London Bridges Walk’ to raise funds for the charity. Over 15,000 people took part in the walk in memory of loved ones, raising awareness of the fact that 12 “fit and healthy” young people pass away every week in the UK due to young sudden cardiac death (YSCD).
