MP for Delyn, David Hanson, attended an event in support of charity Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) in show of his support to their campaign for there to be a national strategy for the prevention of young sudden cardiac death. This event, the charity’s first ‘drop in’ session, was held at Portcullis House and hosted by the Chair of CRY’s All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) Kevan Jones MP. Around 50 MPs attended the event and thus far 171 MPs have signed a pledge to support CRY’s campaign. “It is of the utmost importance that we establish a national strategy for the prevention of young sudden cardiac death. It will help us prevent hundreds of deaths of young people each year from these undiagnosed cardiac conditions,” said Mr Hanson. Read More
