Runner hops the Marathon

A charity fundraiser who broke his ankle two months before last weekend's London Marathon completed the gruelling event on space-age crutches.
Peter Snell, 22, finished the marathon in eight hours, 18 minutes on a pair of specially designed shock-absorbing crutches made by inventor Harry Thompson, from Blewbury, near Didcot. Mr Snell, an engineering student from Henley, raised more than £3,000 for Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY).
