The ‘Soup Sweet & Songs’ event was organised by Golspie High School’s Interact Club. The festive event brought the Golspie community together to raise funds for Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) in memory of Hamish Ross. Hamish, a former student at Golspie High School, passed away suddenly in July and his parents, Donald and June, have since set up a fund for young people in East Sutherland to be screened for hidden cardiac conditions. The event was a great success, raising £1,186 for CRY.
