Hi
We are Harriet, Heidi, Sanya and Jess and we have all been playing cricket together at Boxmoor Cricket Club for a couple of years and have been given the opportunity to take part in the Young Leaders in Cricket programme.
We are completing modules that cover scoring, first aid, coaching, umpiring, groundskeeping, fundraising with social media and mental toughness.
We are also working to complete a minimum of 20 hours of volunteering at our club.
In addition, we are required to complete an element of fundraising and we have decided to organise a sponsored walk from Lords Cricket Ground to Boxmoor Cricket Club on Saturday 7th August 2021 covering a distance of approximately 22 miles.
All funds raised will be split between Young Leaders in Cricket to enable them to continue this programme into the future and our chosen charity CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young).
