CRY Update Magazine Issue 88

Read Update 88 here! Issue 88 of the CRY Update magazine covers all news, events and fundraising from May to August 2022. During the four-month period, we screened over 7,000 people with 6,972 being screened at family screening events. Furthermore, CRY’s Research Team was recognised at the British Cardiac Society with some members even receiving awards.

Sponsored Walk in memory of Clayton Olson

On the afternoon of Friday 9th September, the Sutton Valence School community came together for their annual Sponsored Walk. Despite the less-than-promising weather forecast, the event proved to be a great success. £4,170 was raised for the CRY Charity – a worthy cause chosen following the tragic death of Clayton Olson (2022 H) in April. A big thank you to everyone who has contributed to Clayton’s Memorial Fund with £12,670 raised thus far. We are working with Sutton Valence School to arrange a heart screening day in 2023 for 100 young people and with a further £3,500 we can do two back to back days and cover 200 of the school’s


Join us at the annual CRY London Bridges Walk – Sunday June 26th
