Third ECG donated to CRY in memory of Gary Pope
On 26th April, the friends and family of Gary Pope donated a third ECG machine in Gary’s memory. The ECG machine will help the expansion of the CRY screening programme, where young people between the age of 14 and 35 can be tested at regular screening events throughout the UK. St George's Tooting screening in memory of Gary Pope
On 14th June the friends and family of Gary Pope funded a CRY screening in his memory at the CRY Centre for Inherited cardiovascular Disease and Sports Cardiology at St George’s Hospital. Charity Gig in Memory of Gary Pope
Mannings Heath Hotel near Horsham played host on Friday 10th May, to a fundraising gig in aid of Cardiac Risk in the Young. ‘Murdoch’s Crazy Eyes’ provided the music for the evening for free in order to support the charity and a total of £2,000 was raised for CRY.
