Queen Margaret University craft sale in memory of Michael Yorston
Julia, Andy, Eleanor, Louise and Emma ran a craft sale at Queen Margaret University where Michael was a student. They raised £329.70. This was during awareness week in November 2016 and both staff and students at the university were keen to hear about the work of CRY. Thanks to all who contributed items for the stall
Glasgow to Edinburgh cycle in memory of Michael Yorston

Queen Margaret University tree planting in memory of Michael Yorston
Michael’s friend Adam organised the planting of a tree in Michael’s memory at Queen Margaret University where he studied. After the tree was paid for there was £440 left in the fund which was donated to CRY. The family would like to thank Adam and all who contributed from the bottom of their hearts. Julia Yorston

Great North Run 2016
Congratulations and a huge thank you to the 74 runners who took part in the Great North Run for CRY on Sunday 11th September 2016. This was CRY’s biggest team yet! The atmosphere was brilliant, as it always is at the largest half-marathon in the world! Double Olympic gold medallist Mo Farah won the race
Michael’s Mum
Mairi and Lucy ‘s hair-raising fund raiser. On the 14th May 2016 Mairi and Lucy chopped off their long hair and raised £1,514.50 in memory of Michael. The freshly cut hair was donated to ‘ The Little Princess Trust’. Thanks to all who contributed.
Memorial service collection
