Cardiac Related Sudden Deaths in Sport
Cormac McAnallen (24) Irish Gaelic football player who died from an undetected heart condition Patrick Dinsmore (16) Gaelic footballer who died on the pitch due to an undetected heart condition. Richard Butcher (29) English professional football player died at his home in Swinton. His death had been caused by the heart condition cardiac arrhythmia.

Varsity Series: University of Nottingham vs Nottingham Trent University
It began as a few friendly matches between respective teams and has grown to a head to head competitive series organised by two Athletic University Unions. The Series now spans the whole of the second semester with 14 matches in 10 different sports. The charity chosen for the 2010 series was Cardiac Risk in the Young
Neil Desai
My son Neil Desai died suddenly and unexpectedly in his sleep on the 5th September 2008, his 22nd birthday, whilst on holiday with his girlfriend in Spain. His death caused immense shock and sadness for our family and his friends. Neil died of an unidentified cardiac condition, which was eventually classified as Sudden Adult Death Syndrome
