Beer Festival at Elland
We visited Elland Beer Festival on invitation from festival organiser Dave Weston, close friend of Rory’s father Chris. We were on a learning curve as we plan to hold our own beer festival in Rory’s home village of Ackworth next March to raise funds for Rory’s foundation at CRY. We had a most enjoyable evening and
Harvest Supper

Pirate evening in memory of Rory Embling
We held a pirate evening at Distant Memories in Hemsworth which was hosted by Carol Dawson and ably supported by her shipmates! We raised £26.50 for Rory’s Foundations.
Italian Evening
This is a photo of our Italian evening at which we raised £254.00 for Rory’s foundation at CRY. We had a 3 course meal for about 30 guests prepared to a high standard by Rory’s Auntie Helen Gaythorpe. A good time was had by all.
Rory’s Return raises £161
This is a photo of our good friend and supporter Sue Wright. Sue attends all our CRY events and we are so grateful to her for all her support. Sue retired from teaching this summer and had her retirement party at Rory’s Return at which we raised £161.00 for Rory’s foundation at CRY.
