Royds School cheque presentation in memory of Rory Embling

Rory’s dad, Chris, was presented with a cheque for £1,089.49 to be donated into Rory’s memorial fund by the headmaster of Royds School in Oulton near Leeds, Mr Brian Kelly. Chris visited the school and presented a number of assemblies to the young people who attend there to raise awareness of young cardiac death and the work


Reptile Rendezvous and Furry Friends in memory of Rory

Rory’s Return heart screening

On Sunday 5th March 2017 CRY held a screening at Rory’s Return in West Yorkshire. Among those who attended were Jeff and Sandra Markham who lost their son James aged 21 in 2001. The CRY screening team were very efficient and ensured that everything ran extremely smoothly. 102 young people were screened with 9 being referred on for


University Challenge style quiz in memory of Rory Embling

John Duncan, our Quiz Master, organised the event and was helped on the night by daughter Ellanna and wife Kathryn. Sponsored body wax in memory of Rory
