The
Cole family launched a massive fundraising appeal after a rare heart
condition caused the tragic death of their teenage son and they have now
been able to buy the town three electrocardiogram scanners.
Nearly
10 years after the death of 14-year-old Jeremy Cole, his mum Jenny is
fighting to prevent more sudden deaths from cardiomyopathy – the silent
killer that causes shocking deaths of young people without warning
symptoms.

The
Cole family has worked with the support of Cardiac Risk in the Young to
raise awareness of cardiomyopathy and other heart conditions that can
cause sudden death.
