Tributes have been paid to Euan McNamara on the first anniversary of his death.
The 15-year-old died after collapsing in Liverpool ONE’s Browns restaurant on Saturday, October 22, 2022. Members of staff and the public, including off-duty medics, rushed to help the teenager before paramedics arrived at the scene.
He was then taken to the Royal Liverpool Hospital where he died a short time later. Euan’s school St Mary’s College in Crosby have put out a tribute to the schoolboy and the “light he brought” to the community.
His family has organised a sponsored walk on November 11 in honour of Euan and to raise funds for Cardiac Risk in the Young. The walk will start at Hightown Cricket Club at 12.30pm and finish at Waterloo Rugby Club.
