More than 200 people were screening at Hornsea school last weekend. The screenings were held in memory of Josh Fell; since his death, his parents have worked tirelessly with cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) to raise awareness of life threatening heart conditions. This was the 8th screening organised by the Fell’s.
Richard Fell said of the referrals, “We don’t know who the two people were who were given the referrals, but we know that one of them was a walk in on the day who hadn’t made an appointment. It just goes to show how important our screenings are. If this person hadn’t come in we dread to think what might have happened in the future.”
